I did my ND program in a private polytechnic and I graduated with a lower credit in public administration I’m thinking if It’s possible to study theater art in any government university with a direct entry
Mean while I didn’t do so well in English during my waec but I didn’t have f in it and I did some art subjects in waec such as literature and Yoruba

    • Hello dave, 85% of the institution in Nigeria will not allow you to cross to another department via direct entry and you will be expected to build on the foundation you have in you national diploma. The best option you have now is to choose the same course or reapply for a different course through Jamb. Your plan can only work if the two courses fall under the same faculty. Public admin is under social science while theatre art is under the faculty of art. Moreso you will need a credit pass in English to have a successful admission in any university and any less than C in English might give you a problem even if the private polytechnic you obtained your ND overlooked it.

      • Will it be okay to just further my HND in a private polytechnic with a public administration course in order to avoid the government university problem?
