Graduating with lower credit can sometimes be unfriendly for those that want to switch to university via direct entry. Majority of the universities will demand for upper credit and some will ask for distinction.
Firstly, you need to know either you graduated with distinction, upper credit, lower credit or pass.
The calculation of cgp differs from one school to the other but I will use the most common cgp ratio used in Nigeria polytechnic.
CGP 1.5 to 2.49 Pass
CGP 2.5 to 2.99 lower credit
CGP 3.0 to 3.49 upper credit
CGP 3.50 to 4.0 distinction
From the details above 2.5 to 2.99 is lower credit and there are many students that graduated happily with it.
So…which university can you apply for with lower credit.
Firstly…you need to stay away from competitive universities. You can apply for universities that are not too competitive.
